ESG Highlights: Making an Impact, Quarter by Quarter
At team.blue, we believe sustainability only carries weight when it is backed by data. This quarter marks a turning point as our Group strategy delivers tangible brand-level impact. With Combell leading on transparent reporting, our Turkish operations achieving deep emissions cuts, scaling and community programmes scaling across Europe, these results are the beginning of what becomes possible when purpose and performance point in the same direction.
"When we stop looking only at the ‘global’ and start focusing on the ‘local’, something changes. The goals become more real. The accountability becomes personal. The impact becomes embedded. Combell's first impact report is proof of that. It's their own deep dive into sustainable hosting, modernised infrastructure, and responsible customer growth." Vanessa De Waele, Sustainability Director at team.blue
Q1 2026 Highlights
Sustainable Tech: Combell leads the way
Combell published its first Impact Report this quarter. A customer NPS of 76 and a transparent account of energy consumption are worth noting, but the bigger story is what it represents. Combell, one of our three founding brands, is taking that step publicly, detailing specific progress in evolving its hosting model for higher efficiency, expanding EV charging infrastructure, and empowering customers to grow their digital footprint responsibly. It's more than a document: it's a tool Combell can use to open deeper conversations with customers and suppliers, and mobilise change together.
Türkiye migration: more growth, less carbon
team.blue hosting brand Natro moved to Premier DC, closing our own data centre in Türkiye in favour of a fully green-operated facility. The impact on emissions was immediate: an 83% reduction, from 646 to 112 tonnes of CO2 in a single year, with 2.37 million kWh now running on green energy. Performance and security have both improved significantly, including stronger earthquake resilience.
"Bringing Natro on to a flagship datacenter, network, virtualization and storage platforms means more standardized operational practices, more resiliency, more performance and easier integration with the rest of the group, including the ability to, over time, adopt other group flagship products." Michael Munk Lassen
Digital Inclusion: community involvement as a habit
Our volunteering programme is picking up pace. Two of our Italian brands Register and iubenda are leading the way, with more team.blue brands joining every quarter to make community involvement a core part of how we work, not a one-off initiative.
In Tuscany, teams from AccessiWay and Register joined Quartotempo ASD, a sports association for blind and visually impaired athletes, on the pitch. It sparked real conversations about accessibility and led to continued involvement from colleagues outside of work hours.
“Putting yourself in someone else’s shoes, even for just a moment, changes everything. It was an intense experience that helped me shift my perspective from limitations to possibilities. I realised how essential it is to trust others, and how much the support of a group can make a difference in any situation.” Elisa Consigli, Marketing Specialist at team.blue
Digital Trust: We scored 9.9/10 in Hg's Integrity and Stewardship Report

“team.blue is a great example of what it looks like when sustainability is genuinely embedded in how a business is run - not bolted on. A score of 9.9 reflects real commitment from the whole team, and I'm delighted to see it pay off." Caroline Löfgren, Chief Sustainability Officer at Hg
Giving back to the community: Becoming Sponsor of the PHP Foundation
Starting January 2026, team.blue joined the PHP Foundation as a Gold Sponsor. PHP runs through our entire ecosystem, and this sponsorship supports the maintenance, security, and development of the language millions of businesses depend on. The language deserves the same long-term investment we apply to our infrastructure. Discover more about our commitment.
"PHP has been my language of choice for over 20 years. It's shaped my career, my thinking, and countless projects I've had the privilege to work on. Seeing my company invest in the future of this language and its ecosystem means the world to me." Jachim Coudenys, Director of Software Engineering
